​Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has given the green light to a master plan on environmental protection in craft villages from now until 2030.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved a plan to reduce the use of plastic bags in the country as part of efforts to protect the environment.

Clean water and environmental hygiene affect life of every citizen and the existence and development of each country and region. A movement on the protection of the environment and water sources has been responded enthusiastically across Vietnam.

The Prime Minister has approved targets for the National Programme for Rural Water Supplies and Sanitation during the 2012-15 period.
